Candidates belonging to economically and socially weak background are selected from nearby villages on the basis of a written test and interview by a team comprising of a member from Academic unit Mumbai and a member of HBCSE ,Mumbai. The students admitted are given a monthly scholarship of Rs. 400/- for girls and Rs. 300/- for boys along with books ,notebooks and uniforms. The first batch was admitted in AECS Indore in 2002-03. There are sixty four students studying under the Talent Nurtue Programme during the session 2011-12, in classes VI to X. The number of students in each class is as under-
The students have shown an improvement in Academics, Sports and CCA. Extra coaching was given to the students admitted under TNP during schopol hors and valuntarily by some teachers after school hours.
